Childcare is available for all women using the Wyoming Women's Health Centre services who remain on the premises. If you would just like a break from your children to sit and read and relax you are welcome to do so. Just check with childcare that they will be available before coming.
PLAY AND CHAT MORNINGS
In addition the childcare team organise a series of plain chat mornings to give mothers the opportunity to share experiences, form friendships and learn some new and informative tips, ideas and child related resources in our community.
During the course, we 'chat' about low cost arts and crafts suitable for different ages and discuss behaviours of our children and ways to help deal with them. We look at our local community and what it has to offer such as library activities, suitable parks and playgrounds and 'kid safe' places to visit. Sharing ideas such as recipes and foods children enjoy, great books to read and games children love to play.
The aims of these mornings are to provide and informative, safe, relaxed environment for mothers and their children. Also provides an opportunity for mothers to share information with each other and combined with the Childcare Workers knowledge.
We have on offer printed information, resources and pamphlets on a wide range of women's health issues, as well as access to information off the internet.
